Bush Walking

At 'Fitzroy Falls' you can begin great walks directly from your cottage: The walk to Twin Falls takes about 8 minutes, then onto the spectacular Grotto (40 minutes) or around to Fitzroy Falls (20 minutes) Also there are well defined tracks throughout our 50 acre property where you can walk in complete privacy and safety.

Tennis and Swimming

Enjoy the warmer days with a great sweat out on the tennis court and a relaxing swim in our 12m solar heated pool


Mountain Bike Riding

 

 

 

 

Set amongst our 50 acres of bush we have recently created a challenging 5km mountain bike track. Combine this with the adjoining Morton National Park and Kangaroo Valley trails and your mountain bike adventures will see no limits.   


Horse Riding

  • Rosedale Riding is about 1 km along the Nowra Road from "Twin Falls" at "Sanford Orcas" (5 minutes) Telephone 4887-7137 Fax 4887 7133. Most suited to the experienced rider, a complete riding experience along bush riding trails on good horses it is necessary to book well before you come to stay.

  • Birrabongie, Green Hills Road, Berrima (40 minutes) Telephone 4877 1114 Bookings essential. Trail rides available.

Canoeing.

Kangaroo Valley Escapes tel 0400651170 Moss Vale Rd Kanagaroo Valley  offer fantastic canoeing, mountainbiking and bushwalking adventures. We have been very fortunate to have people from Bird Atlas Of Australia stay with us and identify the 60 birds which are listed in this directory. You may enjoy trying to identify them and encourage the children to take an interest as well. Keen birdwatchers come from around Australia to enjoy our bird life, we hope you do too.
